Stay in a Shepherds Hut!
In the past, the shepherd's hut was built so that a shepherd could live on the fields for extended periods of time. Overseeing his flock day and night in relative comfort.
Simple inside, the hut would be heated with a wood burning stove that provided both essential warmth and somewhere to cook a basic meal or make a pot of tea.
In recent years and the Shepherd Hut, like the Gypsy Caravan, has become a firm favourite among Glampers.
With double glazing, a pretty French wood-burner, copper sink and tiled wooden floor taken from a grain dryer, the Shepherd's Retreat we feel is now complete.
Cosy and snug you can settle down in the double sized bed or sit out and enjoy the views of the rolling Devon countryside.
In the adjoining horsebox with tiled slate floor you will find your bathroom, with modern flush toilet and shower.
